Accreditation

IAOMEI is dedicated to endorsing courses that strictly follow our standards. In order for a course to receive a rating, it must be reviewed by our panel of experts. 

There are three ways that instructors can get involved in IAOMEI:

  1. Become a Member
  2. Become an Institutional Member
  3. Submit a Course for Review

Becoming a Member

Membership is primarily designed for individual course creators. Benefits of being a member include reduce rates to submit courses, subscription to our news and information newsletter, best practice information, inclusion in our directory listing, and priority scheduling when courses are being scheduled for review. Importantly: membership in IAOMEI does not guarantee a positive ranking of the member’s course. 

Becoming an Institutional Member

Institutional Membership is designed for schools, academies, or private companies specializing in online music educational content. Benefits of being a member include reduce rates to submit courses, subscription to our news and information newsletter, best practice information, inclusion in our directory listing, and priority scheduling when courses are being scheduled for review. Importantly: membership in IAOMEI does not guarantee a positive ranking of the institution’s courses, or any members within the organization. 

Submitting a Course for Review

Institutional Membership is designed for schools, academies, or private companies specializing in online music educational content. Benefits of being a member include reduce rates to submit courses, subscription to our news and information newsletter, best practice information, inclusion in our directory listing, and priority scheduling when courses are being scheduled for review. Importantly: membership in IAOMEI does not guarantee a positive ranking of the institution’s courses, or any members within the organization. 

Courses that pass a review meeting or exceeding all five of our criteria will be able to use the 5-Start logo on their courses and/or website:
